In July 2008, BBS started production with two portable steel building product lines in the company’s 62,500 square foot manufacturing facility in Tennille, Ga. Entering the market in 2011 after the successful launch of its portable building unit, Bennett Buildings Systems president Danny Lowry set out to create a best-in-class product and innovative delivery model for custom installed steel structures. Manufactured in a second facility near the Augusta, Ga regional airport, every detail of our carports and barns have been examined and engineered to create unique innovations that lead the industry:

• High-quality steel tubing used to create our structures has a special coating that helps it withstand 1,000 hour salt corrosion tests without a flaw
• Smooth radius bends instead of crush bends to form the bows for our standard carport roofs, adding strength and a more streamlined look
• Color-matched, Crypton-coated screws add beauty and corrosion resistance to steel panel fasteners
• Optional windows with grilles provide natural light with the nicest look in the business

All of our custom steel buildings are loaded at our factory on purpose-built trailers for installation by qualified contractors. Installers may construct multiple buildings in a geographic area all served from the same load. This innovative delivery process allows us to keep costs low and deliver turnkey, installed pricing to our customers.
